Milk extract healthy Vagina

Besides proven to have many health benefits, milk is also known as the best treatment media. Did you know that the content of active substances in milk extracts can overcome vaginal discharge?

The vagina is the female reproductive organs are highly susceptible to infection. This is due to the limits between the urethra to the anus are very close, so that germs such as fungi, bacteria, parasites, and viruses easily fit into the vagina. Therefore, women should be diligent in caring for personal hygiene this region.
Infections also occur because of disruption of ecosystem balance in the vagina. Vaginal ecosystem is a circle of life that is influenced by two main elements, namely estrogen and the bacteria Lactobacillus, or good bacteria.

Here, estrogen plays a role in determining the levels of sugars as energy savings in the cell body (glycogen). Glycogen is the nutrition of Lactobacillus, which is metabolized to its growth.
Time metabolism and produce lactic acid, which determines the atmosphere of acid in the vagina, with the potential Hydrogen (pH) in the range of 3.8 to 4.2. With this level of acidity, Lactobacillus will be fertile and pathogenic bacteria (bad) was going to die.

In the vagina there are various kinds of bacteria, 95 percent of Lactobacillus, 5 percent of the pathogens. In a balanced vaginal ecosystem conditions, pathogenic bacteria will not interfere. If the balance is disturbed, eg acidity decreases, the defense will naturally go down, and prone to infection.
The imbalance of the vaginal ecosystem caused by many factors. Among other oral contraceptives, diabetes mellitus, antibiotic, menstrual blood, semen, spraying liquid into the vagina (douching), and hormonal disorders such as during puberty, pregnancy, or menopause.

"Maintaining the balance of the ecosystem is the most natural and effective in treating vaginal health and prevent infection," said Dr. Junita Indarti, Sp.OG, obstetrics and gynecology specialists from FKUI-RSCM, the media workshop entitled "The Benefits of Milk for Vagina", at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, some time ago.

Trigger Cancer
Frequent infections of the vagina is whitish. Whitish or in medical terms is called leukorea, white discharge, fluor albus, is a symptom of disease characterized discharge from the reproductive organs, and not a form of blood.

However, not all vaginal discharge is a disease. Whitish divided into two, namely normal and abnormal.
Normal vaginal discharge is characterized by clear discharge during the fertile period or before menstruation, odorless, and no complaints of vaginal itching. In contrast, abnormal vaginal discharge indicates an infection of the vagina that are distinguished on the basis of the cause, ie bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis, and candidiasis.

Bacterial vaginosis is a vaginal discharge due to increased bacterial pathogens, thus decreasing Lactobacilli, vaginal pH increases, become alkaline. Usually this disorder is marked clinical symptoms such as vaginal mucus less, homogeneous, grayish white, odors, but does not cause irritation.
If the situation is experienced by pregnant women, will be at risk in preterm birth. Another risk is a pregnancy outside the uterus and sometimes causes inflammation of the pelvis.

Trichomoniasis, which is whitish due to sexually transmitted diseases. Habits like to change sexual partners without using contraception (condoms), is the primary cause. According to the study, 70 percent of men infected after intercourse with an infected woman Trichomoniasis.

Other types of vaginal discharge is candidiasis, which by the fungus Candida albicans. Clinical symptoms experienced by patients in the form of itching, vaginal mucus shaped like the head of milk, and smelly. Other complaints that often arises is vaginal pain, burning sensation on the outside of the vagina (vulva), and pain during intercourse and urination.

Dr. Junita confirmed that abnormal vaginal discharge if not treated correctly will result in infertility, infection of the oviduct, even the beginning of the growth of cervical cancer. Therefore, when already experiencing vaginal discharge, perform pap smears.

Keep your pH Balance
According to Drs. Junita, the important thing to note, that maintain the ecosystem balance vagina to prevent infection. He reminded, the easiest way is to maintain the cleanliness of the vagina, but by maintaining the degree of acidity of pH, so the growth of Lactobacillus increased and inhibited the proliferation of pathogenic organisms.

In clinical trials done in the Cytology Clinic Cipto Mangunkusumo, Jakarta, revealed that the extract of milk proved to be useful to maintain the balance of the vaginal ecosystem. Milk contains active substance which is extracted into lactic acid and laktoserum, which is clinically proven to reduce complaints itching, burning, and vaginal discharge.

Inside the compound contained laktoserum lactate, lactose, and trace elements. Lactic acid is produced by the glycogen and glucose metabolism that serves to keep the vaginal pH remains acidic, namely between 3.8 to 4.2. If the normal pH, bacterial growth is inhibited.
"Based on our results at the RSCM, from 71 cases of fluorine albus with complaints itching, burning, and vaginal discharge, itching complaints was reduced by 86.1 percent, 87.5 percent burns, and white 81.1 percent, after a patient treated with the provision of laktoserum lactic acid solution and two times a day for two weeks, "he explained.

He concluded that lactic acid and laktoserum not only beneficial to reduce the discharge and inhibit the growth of fungi (Candida) and fungi (dermatophytes), but also does not interfere with the growth of Lactobacillus. Therefore, even if used every day, the vaginal ecosystem is maintained.
Pharma Health Care (PHC) has issued a new feminine cleaning products, which contain lactic acid and laktoserum extracted from the milk, with Lactacyd name, making it safe to use every day because of the way it works is natural.
